addition of 3 new floors (2000 sqm) to existing 5 storey retail/office building
60-64 Wells Street Frankston

Planning application has just been lodged for this exciting project.

The 3 storey proposed extension offers a transparent expression over a monolithic brick base, providing a lightweight glazed element to the existing 5 storey office building.

The extension provides an articulated building form, which will identify the building as a landmark, visible from most of the Frankston Central area.

The glazed facade incorporates passive solar control through the use of vertical sunshades, which strengthen the architectural expression and provide a visible connection to the existing building.

The glazing system uses a high performance glass to minimize heat gain and heat loss.

The office floors include extensive balcony terraces, providing the opportunity for the use of outdoor areas associated with the office spaces, with extensive views to the bay and the hinterland.

This will undoubtedly be the best office space in Frankston.

Stay tuned for further details.
